Wine Society Profile
Founded in 1987, the Pennsylvania Wine Society, Ltd. (PWS) is a
not-for-profit organization whose aim is
to help members learn about the
wine-making process, how to select and enjoy
fine wines, and the art of combining food
and wine. PWS's
philosophy is that "life is too short
to drink bad wine." We hold 12-15
events each year, ranging from social events
to structured, formal tastings of wines from
all over the world presented by
knowledgeable and engaging winemakers and
wine experts. Our members range from
beginners to connoisseurs
– all are welcome!

| 6/21/2008 – Don't Be Disappointed - Register Early for Events! | | PWS wants everyone to join us at our fabulous events. Event wines and food are pre-ordered, and event space booked, based on average, predictable attendance and a break-even budget since we are a not-for-profit, all-volunteer organization. PWS is able to add persons to an event as limited by the above. Your early registration increases our ability to offer you a seat. Please plan ahead to join us!

Cancellations more than 1 week before an event or because you feel at risk due to inclement weather will receive a full refund or credit. Cancellations less than 1 week before an event will receive a full refund or credit ONLY if the PWS is able to fill the canceled seat(s). Others may come in your place. All 'No Shows' will be charged.
